Young Leaders for Health's work is based on four pillars: education, innovation, diplomacy and advocacy. Furthermore, Young Leaders for Health is a registered nonprofit consisting of an international team of students and young professionals from various academic backgrounds wishing to nurture the next generation of leaders in public and global health.
We offer an interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of knowledge, the development of sustainable and equitable projects in the field of digital health and the opportunity to network with people from around the world who are motivated to bring about positive changes in public and global health.
Our past projects have included innovative YLH Social Entrepreneurship Challenges on eHealth tackling themes, such as Interoperability, Non-Communicable Diseases, Urban Populations and Air Quality, unique YLH Conferences focused on addressing the challenges we currently face with regards to the Global Health Workforce, the Agenda 2030's Sustainable Development Goals as well as Disaster and Risk Management, multiple World Health Assembly Simulations accompanied by comprehensive Workshop Programmes, Systems Thinking and Design Thinking Labs.
Furthermore, we have provided keynote speeches at the first WHO Symposium on the Digitalisation of Health Systems in the European Region, the G7 Working Group of Health Experts Meeting 2019, the XPOMET Medicinale as well as the World Health Summit in Berlin, to name a few.
We are currently in the midst of planning some exciting projects, but openly welcome new ideas, partnerships and active members. Please contact us if you are interested in joining this international, interdisciplinary team.
