Are you passionate, sophisticated and keen to make your mark within global health?

Do you want to explore interdisciplinary approaches to global health challenges?

Do you want to create lasting networks with like-minded peers?

Then we need you to apply for the YLH Coference 2019!

The Young Leaders for Health Conference is back. The third edition with the theme "Our Health Workforce" will take place in Berlin, Germany from the 15th until the 18th of August, 2019. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players to join us in making this event a success!

What is the YLH Conference?

The YLH Conference is a biannual conference that brings together aspiring and future global health enthusiasts, scientists, politicians, artists, and entrepreneurs to explore interdisciplinary approaches to global health challenges, politics, policies and diplomacy. It combines a comprehensive workshop and lecture program with a simulation of the World Health Assembly (WHA), the major decision-making body of the World Health Organisation. In order to put an emphasis on the need for innovation and a systemic approach to challenges, this year’s edition will hold a design/systems thinking lab so as to give participants the opportunity to develop concrete solutions to existing global health challenges.

Do you have what it takes to join the team?

We encourage all motivated and enthusiastic individuals to apply, regardless of your academic background (all disciplines are welcome) and level of experience in organizing events, as long as you are pro-active, open-minded and reliable. Moreover, you need to be a team player and be able to work with mutual respect in a team with people from diverse backgrounds.
