Lisa Gow, Law and Public Policy Graduate
I feel thoroughly interdisciplinary at heart, and am joining the Young Leaders for Health organising committee after completing postgraduate studies in applied ethics and public policy in Germany. Joining YLH allows me to develop my burgeoning interest in global public health. I truly believe that addressing the health challenges of today and tomorrow requires collective action and the harnessing of new opportunities offered by technological development. In particular, having learned about different health literacy approaches, I realised that policymakers must understand health as a broad concept that needs be supported in all contexts, not just in clinics.
